Kate Garvin
Chief Operating Officer
Kate Garvin leads Noteus’ strategy and is responsible for capital formation and investor relationships.
Kate has more than 15 years of experience in private markets and finance, including as an investor and Limited Partner. She has lived on three continents and participated in fundraises that total more than $10bn.
Prior to founding Noteus, Kate led Business Development activity across the Americas for another major investment firm, supporting the firm as it grew from €18bn to €30bn in assets under management. She oversaw the firm’s entry into the region and led several strategic initiatives to build its global third-party capital raising function.
Kate also worked in capital formation at L Catterton and Healthcare Royalty. She was involved in strategic activities that involved scaling L Catterton into a global asset manager with responsibilities leading initiatives in strategy, fundraising, new product development and sales operations.
Kate was a Limited Partner at Auda (now HQ Capital), primarily investing in traditional and GP-led secondaries, and invested in funds and co-investments.
Kate started her career at BofA Merrill Lynch as a member of the Healthcare Investment Banking team.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated with Honors.
Kate is fluent in English and conversational in French.
