Zoé Fabian-Frey

Zoé leads Noteus’ investments in the DACH regions (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), the Nordics and CEE (Central and Eastern Europe).
Zoé has more than 15 years of experience in Finance and Technology.
Prior to founding Noteus, she was a Managing Director of another major investor’s Growth Equity team and was a member of the Investment Committee. Zoé was responsible for building the firm’s presence in her regions and led investments in Aiven, Commercetools, Thought Machine and Tink. She oversaw the sale of Tink to Visa in 2021. Zoé has served on the Boards of Directors of Adjust, Aiven, Sophia Genetics, Thought Machine and Tink.
Prior to this, Zoé led investments for the in-house investment arm of Axel Springer, Europe’s largest publishing house, with a particular focus on classifieds and marketplaces, and was engaged in a Joint Venture alongside General Atlantic.
Zoé started her career at Blackstone’s investment bank (now PJT Partners) based out of New York and Paris. While at Blackstone, she was involved in a broad range of M&A, debt, equity and restructuring transactions. Zoé also has experience with JPMorgan and Lehman Brothers’ M&A teams in London.
Zoé received a Master’s Degree in International Management from ESCP Business School and an Undergraduate Degree in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin.
She lives in Berlin, Germany and has lived and worked on three continents.
She is fluent in German, English and French and is conversational in Spanish.
